Music & Grief

Please join us for a new workshop event. This will be a time where we will explore different aspects of the grief journey through various interactions with music. We know that sometimes finding the language to describe how we feel in our grief can be daunting. Accessing and expressing those emotions through music provides an opportunity to attend to the grief experience in a creatively based and less threatening way. This workshop will be led by our Board-Certified Music Therapist, who will utilize music in various ways to encourage whole-person nurturing along the grief journey. This time and space is meant to invite you to connect with yourself and connect with others through instrument play, music listening, relaxation experiences, songwriting, and rituals of remembrance.
